Lovely images here, particularly the sign, the seascapes and dunes. Not sure the diptych always works (for me anyway), but I'd have to give more consideration to your reasons for choosing that format: a certain filmic quality, an invitation to look again (and see a little more), a wish to unsettle, discompose, fragment, underline our inability to ever see anything completely.. or perhaps it is none of these things.

I am drawn to such landscapes myself, as in this example: http://www.flickr.com/photos/granier/5598208184/in/set-72157626324633197

Keep em coming.

Thanks for your kind words and looking Mark! means a lot.
I started the dyps where an old family friend reminded me that as a child I used to have the habit on looking at things through one eye and then the other, fascinated at the difference between the two images, so I started to try and reproduce the effect photographically. You end up with these little puzzles, it's still in development

Brian, that's a great reason to be working on diptychs, though I'm not sure I would have guessed (but perhaps I should have; I can be slow with concepts, lateral thinking, etc.).

yeah maybe I should 'art' it up a bit....

Actually I love the plainness. And I love that title 'Beware of Trains', though another title, or subtitle, might carry the concept easily enough. Maybe just add a tiny bit of background text, about your old impulse to look again.
